…is creating “original expressions in fabric” an answer to her life long quest for individuality. As a young girl, Wendy collected vintage clothing, shoes, purses and sewed several interesting outfits of her own creation in effort to set herself apart - Pretty In Pink. Revisiting her early influences and interests, Wendy has found fabric to be the perfect medium to launch her latest art series. With a vintage flair, she features two styles: Holly G and The Brown Bag. Wendy purchases/reuses small amounts of fabric and uses it only once – making each creation unique – YOU have the only one. The common/distinguishable elements are the acrylic tortoise shell handles & buttons. Her designs, Holly G & The Brown Bag are triangular in shape and allow you to comfortably carry as arm or shoulder bags. Each is signed and numbered as a piece of fine art…to be enjoyed both on and OFF the wall.
